Why choose the Radiata Pine?
Applicable products: casing mouldings, wall cladding trims, skirting boards, carved decorative mouldings, stair treads, handrails, balusters, newel posts and other stair parts.

1. Excellent Workability for Intricate Moulding & Stair Machining
Radiata pine features straight, uniform grain with moderate hardness. It allows smooth cutting, planing, grooving, sanding and CNC carving. Both plain linear trims and elaborately curved/embossed mouldings for European and Chinese styles can be precisely fabricated with low processing waste and high mass-production efficiency.
The wood offers reliable glue bonding and screw holding power, guaranteeing tight joints for handrail assembly, newel post connection and moulding splicing. It accepts all finishes including wood oil, clear lacquer, white paint and tinted stain. It can retain its natural pale tone or be stained to mimic oak and walnut, matching all home decoration styles.
2. Few Knots & Low Resin Prevent Paint Defects
Radiata pine has minimal knots and extremely low resin content, avoiding paint yellowing and bubbling caused by resin exudation. It has a pale, consistent base colour with slight colour variation. For white painted casings, skirting boards and stair fittings, finishes stay smooth and clean. No oil bleeding occurs after long-term use, cutting down rework greatly.
3. Stable Kiln-Dried Wood Reduces Warping & Cracking
Raw timber is professionally kiln-dried to maintain stable moisture content between 8% and 12%. Decorative trims, stair treads and posts resist warping, cracking and shrinkage under temperature and humidity changes, including air-conditioned indoor spaces and different climates nationwide. The timber remains dimensionally stable during domestic delivery and long ocean shipping, lowering after-sales losses.
4. Eco-Friendly Qualified for Domestic Decoration & Global Export
Most radiata pine comes from sustainably managed plantations in New Zealand and Chile with limited pesticide use. Finished products consistently meet E1 formaldehyde emission standards, and many timbers carry FSC certification. The material meets domestic health requirements for home renovation and clears customs smoothly for exports to Europe, the UK, the US and other regions, complying with international environmental procurement rules.
5. Stable Supply & Cost-Effective for Bulk Orders
6. Moderate Weight for Easy Installation
7. Resistant to Moisture & Mould, Ideal for Ocean Freight
