Flat Mdf Composite Door Jamb Set
The existence of irregularities in wall openings and poor plumbness leads to irregularity in the spacing between the wall and door jambs, making the installation require extra time of 1.5 to 2 hours per jamb in order to fill putty, sand, dry, and paint. Despite multiple corrections done, joints usually remain either cracked or misaligned, affecting the quality of the installation.
Our prefabricated three pieces MDF jamb kit is cut at 45° mitre alignment, taking less than 10 minutes of installation without requiring any cutting work on-site. Our design has an extra 50 mm on both sides, making it possible to absorb any deviation in the openings up to ±30 mm and wall plumbness of up to 5 mm/meter; hence, all rough edges and openings are made uniform with the smooth flat surface without requiring filling putty, sanding, and painting. The installation process would take only 40-60 minutes, saving 1.5 to 2 hours per door installation.

Why choose our Flat MDF Composite Door Jamb Set
Prefinished Surface
The prefinished door jamb set has a primer coating already applied at the factory (≥30 μm DFT, ISO 2409 Class 1 adhesion). No sanding or priming is necessary prior to painting.
Moisture-Resistant MDF Core
Produced using dense MDF with a 24-hour swell of ≤6% (ASTM D1037) – suitable for interior use, including hallways and bedrooms. In the kitchen or bathroom and any moisture-prone environments, an additional MR (Moisture-Resistant) MDF model is available.
Engineered Dimensional Accuracy
Width and thickness have tolerances of ±0.3 mm; length tolerance is also confirmed to industry standards (ANSI/WDMA I.S. 1-A). Consists of head and side jambs that match in size and create a precise square fit for standard door openings.
In-Built Hardware Accommodations
Factory-drilled holes for hinge and strike plates and pre-installed knockdown connector screws make the installation process much faster. Jamb components lock together with no need to do complicated mortise work.
Lightweight and User-Friendly Design
Up to 35% lighter than comparable solid wood jambs – decreases physical strain of carrying around and installing the set. Coupled with a prefinished surface and hardware locations, the door jamb opening can be installed within 30 minutes.
