User Pain Points

Wall panels installation on-site also encounters the same challenges: misalignment resulting in joints with gaps or steps that have to be filled; un-smooth surface necessitating extra sanding prior to painting; and inconsistent sizes that cause workers to spend time sorting them out. All these problems can easily take one hour or more in addition to the usual installation period and the risk of having an uneven installation.

Our Solution

We‍‌‍‍‌ use a precision tongue-and-groove milling process for our primed shiplap panels to ensure that the joint clearances will be reduced to the bare minimum - <=0.3mm, allowing joints to work effortlessly without any gapping problem. The surface is sanded to 180 grit and primed using water-based primer (≥25μm DFT) – no further on-site prep is required to apply the topcoat.

The size tolerance is ±0.8MM (width/thickness) and length tolerance is per industry standard to ensure that all panels fit perfectly at their intended places. MR MDF with swell rate of ≤8% is available where moisture tends to accumulate. This will lead to less tool usage, rework and callbacks - measurable time saving on every project.

Choose the Right Interior Wood Trim Primed Shiplap Wall Panels for Different Projects

  • Different‍‌‍‍‌ interior spaces need walls with various types of performance, hence picking the right wall panels can not only save installation time but also prolong the life and attractiveness of the walls.

    • Residential‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‌Homes: We recommend 9mm of Pine wall panels with a gesso coat. It is light and relatively cheap material, with an advantage of wooden texture and possibility of an even paint coverage—perfect for warm interiors. MDF option is also available.

    • Hotels & Hospitality: We recommend to use 12 mm pine wall panels with a gesso coat. Its uniform texture and stable size make it perfect for large-scale projects and save time at the installation stage at the site. MR MDF option is available for high-humidity locations.

    • Commercial & Retail: Recommended 12 mm pine primed shiplap with a gesso coat. Durable, resistant to damage and easy to clean – perfect for busy zones. MDF option is available for smooth painting.

    • Office Buildings: We recommend a gesso coat of 9 mm pine primed shiplap. Fast installation and identical color on each floor require minimal work on the‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌ site.

  • The correct choice of profile, along with a correct choice of interior wood trim will increase the speed of your installation process, reduce the number of mistakes and allow you to get a perfect result at the end of your project.

Production, Quality Control & Packaging for Interior Wood Trim Primed Shiplap Wall Panels

We make our interior wood trim primed shiplap and wall panels using our strict and high-standard production system, such as:

  • Timber‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Selection: The best timber is selected and processed into boards, and production starts.

  • Kiln Drying: To preserve the characteristics of the wood and make it stable, timber is kiln dried up to 5% – 7% moisture content.

  • Moisture Conditioning: Timber is kept in the storage of our warehouse for over 20 days. The moisture content gradually reaches 8% – 12%, which is its stable level. It is particularly important because it minimizes the risk of deformations of the wood during production.

  • Precision Machining: Using WEINIG four-side moulders, the contours are formed, and the precision of the cuts is ±0.15mm, which guarantees perfect fit of the panels.

  • Primer Coating: Firstly, two layers of primer are applied, then intermediate sanding is performed. And finally, water-based finish coat is used that gives the wall panel a smooth surface.

  • Quality Check: An employee checks each of the details of the size, machining, surface quality, and finishing before packing to make sure that all parts fit.

  • Export Packaging: At first, the products are protected from environmental conditions with shrink film and then placed on wooden pallets, which ensures their safe arrival.

All the wood interior trim pieces are carefully checked to ensure that they have the same quality and that they can give good performance through their entire service life.
