MDF‍‌‍‍‌ Primed Skirting Board Molding. An MDF primed skirting board is a type of internal trim material made from MDF with pre-primed surface, which is paint-ready. Usually, it is used at the wall and floor junction, to conceal expansion gaps, safeguard the wall from scratches and abrasion and to give the room an aesthetically pleasing, completed ‍‌‍‍‌look. Our Solution

Our‍‌‍‍‌ prepared MDF skirting board has been polished at the factory up to a smoothness of 180 grit and has undergone uniform priming with 1 coat (>25μm ‍‌‍‍‌DFT).The primed surface does away with the need for sanding and priming on-site so all you do is cut, fit and apply finishing coat. Precision cuts are done to edges so tight joints can be achieved with minimal caulking. MDF board resists chipping, it is so dense, and also takes paint evenly which results in a flawless look. It normally takes installation less than 45 minutes per ‍‌‍‍‌room.

Differnce between MDF and MR MDF

The‍‌‍‍‌ key difference is the moisture resistance. Ordinary medium-density fibreboard suits only dry interior environments. It is often used in manufacturing furniture and interior decoration. It does not have any resistance to humidity or water.

MR MDF (Moisture Resistant MDF), however, is made by using special moisture-resistant resins which give it the ability to survive in humid conditions like kitchens, bathrooms, and also areas close to the sea. Both materials have a smooth surface and are easily machinable and paintable. However, MR MDF is more stable and performs better in moist ‍‌‍‍‌environments.

Container loading is always carefully done under supervision to prevent movement, shifting of cargo during transportation. Desiccant packs as option for moisture control can be offered when destination has high humidity.
