Dur primed pine stair parts are kiln-dried to a 8%-12% moisture content for dimensional stability. Precision-milled to ±0.3mm profile tolerance for tight, gap-free joints between newel posts and balusters. Overall dimensional tolerance: Width ±0.8mm, Thickness ±0.8mm, Length +0-2mm, gap-free joints. Factory-sanded to 180-grit — ready for topcoat after a quick light sanding (or straight to paint for most professional applications).
