SPRING ANGLE COMES FIRST

One thing before anything else on a crown order: the spring angle.

A 38/52 crown and a 45/45 crown can share the same face width and still be two completely different products.

They won't cope together at inside corners. Mix them in one warehouse and the complaints land on you, then on us.

So every new crown program starts with your sample or a dimensioned drawing. We check the angle and the back relief against it, cut knives, run a counter sample, and wait for your sign-off.

Production

FROM LOG TO LOADED CONTAINER

Step 1 - Kiln drying. Radiata pine blanks dry to 10% +/-2% moisture content, then rest in conditioned storage until meter readings hold flat. Rushing this step is where cheap trim is born, so we don't.

Step 2 - Defecting. Knots, pitch pockets, reaction wood - docked out. What continues down the line is clear stock.

Step‍‌‍‍‌ 3 - finger jointing. Profiles are cut from boards, glued, and assembled into long units. The glueline is tested by making a bend that should not break through.

Step 4 - Moulding. Profile patterns are cut by knife lines, knives kept sharp according to the types of profile being cut; thin-profile profiles get short cuts.

Step 5 - sanding is done followed by Primer coating. Boards are primed by running the primer through water-based paints, on four sanding/painting lines in two layers, after which a finishing sand is carried out. Finished boards can be top-coated after sanding and priming.

Step 6 is Inspection and Packing. Each board is carefully examined for the quality of the work, put in a polyethylene wrapped film with desiccant, and laid out in a certain way as a pattern (stacked/loaded), photographs before the door to packing is ‍‌‍‍‌closed.

Standard sample preparation time takes 5-7 business days, and custom sample preparation time may be 10-15 days. The customer is the one paying the shipping fee here.
2. Is it your company that can produce goods strictly according to the customer's drawings?
Yes, we do accept OEM and customized order services based on customer's drawings, samples, or their specific requirements.
3. Is your company able to print our company's logo on the product and on the packaging?

6. How are the products for export prepared in terms of packaging?
All items will be wrapped in shrinkable PVC film and wooden pallets to prevent any risk of damage during transport and therefore be well packed for your shipping.
